Marvel at the 100,000 Christmas lights and decorations in the City, including the 13-metre Christmas tree and giant Christmas cards in Murray Street Mall, Nativity scene in Council House, giant Bethlehem Star and lighting display at The Bell Tower.

Enjoy all the color and spectacle of the parade, plus a big family carnival. It will start with a Telethon Sizzle at 8am followed by a parade around Langley Park from 9.30am, carnival rides and family entertainment from 10.30am to 2pm.
IGA Carols By Candlelight

he IGA Carols by Candlelight concert has become an integral part of the City’s traditional Christmas programme and is promoted as part of the City’s Festival of Christmas event.
This year marks the event’s 66th anniversary of the event, with over 12,000 people attending annually.
Gates open at 5pm, with kids pre-show from 6.45pm. The main event begins from 7.30pm. Cost is $10 for adults, $5 for kids or a family pass (2 & 2) for $25. Includes song book, candle and candle holder for everyone.
